Romelia Martinez Portfolio
Hello, I'm Romelia Martinez. I'm delighted to share a curated selection of my work, which I update two to three times a year to showcase my most recent projects.
Over the past four years, I've served as a government contractor for the New Mexico Army National Guard Recruiting & Retention Battalion. In this role, I've had the opportunity to design impactful materials that support their mission.
My journey in graphic design began as a personal hobby and has since evolved into an essential tool in streamlining my marketing career. This progression has enabled me to create designs that are both visually compelling and relevant to current market trends, effectively reducing creative wait times and enhancing project management efficiency.
Please feel free to explore the photo gallery of my "Works" to see examples of my projects. I invite you to delve into my portfolio to learn more about my approach and the services I offer.

Kinesio Medical Taping For the Mature Adult Sales Video
I developed a series of looped sales videos for the Kinesio® Sales Team to showcase the benefits of medical taping for mature adults. Designed for use at global conventions and partner presentations, these videos serve as a visual tool to educate practitioners and generate interest among healthcare professionals worldwide.
Each video was crafted with intentional pacing, clean motion graphics, and engaging visuals to align with Kinesio’s clinical brand identity while clearly demonstrating taping techniques, patient outcomes, and therapeutic benefits. The content was optimized for looped display on TVs across international trade shows, ensuring accessibility, clarity, and impact in high-traffic environments.
This project reflects my ability to distill complex medical content into visually compelling, market-ready materials that support global sales, training, and brand visibility.
Kinesio Medical Taping Spotlight Partner Video
In 2018, I led the development of a 26-part video series spotlighting Dr. Kenzo Kase, the visionary founder of Kinesio® and pioneer of elastic therapeutic taping. These videos were created to help Kinesio’s global sales teams and distributors deliver consistent, branded messaging while capturing Dr. Kase’s passion, purpose, and profound legacy.
Designed as a cornerstone communication tool, the series is used in Kinesio University certification courses, international seminars, and global partner trainings—reinforcing core educational concepts and brand values. Each video blends authentic storytelling with clear instruction, ensuring that Dr. Kase’s message lives on across cultures, languages, and generations of practitioners.
With Dr. Kase’s passing in 2023, this series has become even more meaningful—serving as a lasting tribute to the man who revolutionized the therapeutic taping industry and inspired millions through his work.
This project reflects my ability to produce legacy-driven multimedia that aligns global brand strategy with emotional storytelling and educational impact.
Kinesio® “Tape With Wisdom” Rebranding – Retail Sales Video Series Featuring Notah Begay
As part of Kinesio’s global rebranding initiative, I developed a series of retail-focused sales videos under the new “Tape With Wisdom” slogan, featuring renowned professional golfer and Kinesio advocate, Notah Begay. These videos were designed to elevate brand perception at the consumer level while reinforcing trust and credibility through Notah’s personal testimonial and athletic credibility. The series was crafted to support point-of-sale displays, retail partner marketing, and digital campaigns—bridging the gap between product education and emotional storytelling. Clean motion graphics, branded messaging, and high-quality production aligned with Kinesio’s refreshed identity while appealing to a broader, wellness-conscious audience. This project reflects my ability to integrate rebranding efforts into multimedia content that drives retail engagement, boosts shelf appeal, and connects authentically through trusted voices.
“The Dragon Came Down the Mountain” – Documentary Promo Piece Commissioned by the National Latino Behavioral Health Association
This promotional video is a condensed preview of the full-length, 80-minute documentary I was commissioned to produce by the National Latino Behavioral Health Association. The film was created to raise public awareness about the mental health impacts experienced by survivors of the Hermits Peak/Calf Canyon Fires—the largest wildfire in New Mexico’s history.
Working under an extremely tight timeline, I led the full creative process, including storyboarding, interviewing, filming, and editing. Within just two days, I captured over 12 hours of footage, including interviews with:
-
6 wildfire survivors
-
3 Lifelink peer support leaders
-
2 NLBHA directors
-
3 New Mexico state officials
After reviewing multiple edited transcripts, I had three weeks to craft a compelling, emotionally resonant, and publicly viewable 80-minute film. The documentary was successfully screened at six public events across New Mexico within one year, earning strong audience response and client praise.
This project showcases my ability to produce mission-driven, emotionally impactful storytelling under pressure—bridging public health advocacy and documentary filmmaking with purpose and integrity.
